In 2011 pushkar fair , Heritage camps will setup campsite from 1st November to 11th November 2011. Every evening folkdance & puppet show is there to entertain you in evening . All the meals are included in the below special rates mentioned. Complimentary camel cart is provided to pick and drop to fair ground.

pushkar fair 2011 ( 1st November to 11 th nov ) -

Nov 1st - 5th Nov: Cattle Fair.
From 1st november onwards the cattle starts gathering in huge fair ground,This is when all the activities with camels and other cattle will take place - the cattle trading, camel races, as well as various shows and competitions etc.

Nov 6th - Nov 9th: Cultural Fair. This is when all the government sponsored cultural activities will take place. There will be folk dance shows, music performances, and other similar activities. Please bear in mind that you will get to experience (much more comfortably) similar performances at a number of the hotels we use during your exploration of India. Most agency's take you to the Fair on these dates despite the fact that most of the cattle and villagers have already left Pushkar.

» Stalls and Shopping
During the Pushkar Fair the numerous make shift stalls offer a variety of items for the cattle and humans. For cattle there are items ranging from saddles, saddle-straps and beads to strings of cowries. With so many women around at the Pushkar Fair can the jewellery and the garment stalls be far! Check out the colorfully clad women buying silver ornaments, bead necklaces from Nagaur and garments of patchwork, printed textiles from Ajmer and tie 'n' die. That is not the end of fashion at the Pushkar Fair; there are beautiful body tattoos that you can get made as per your choice!
